Our Story

Ability is a family owned, non-franchised, company providing care to individuals in our community.

Ability opened its doors in 2010 as an adult day program for individuals with special needs, and also provides home care services and community-based services. Due to our dedication to providing quality care, Ability grew quickly, and we now serve over 125 individuals in our community.

We soon realized that there was a gap in services for people in our community in their golden years, and those who need extra assistance so Ability is now proud to be providing Ability@Home Senior Care and Ability@Home In-Home Care Services.

Ability@Home Senior Care is an elderly care services program which includes in-home care and tech support services for your loved ones.

Ability@Home In-Home Care is a service that provides supportive care in the home, and provides a variety of other services for people who need the extra help around the house.

We have developed a reputation for going above and beyond, and our highly trained staff take pride in providing the best care possible to meet every individual need.

In 2015, Ability opened Arizona’s first Transition to Employment program, and it continues to be the premier TTE program in the state. Transition to Employment offers our members training in the meaning, value and demands of employment, and in the development of positive attitudes towards work. Since opening, our members have used the skills they have learned in the program to move on to many different employment opportunities, including numerous Group Supported Employment positions and independent employment in the community.
