Ability is here for you during covid-19
COVID-19 has brought a lot of hardships to our community, and Ability is here to help! We are offering in-home DTA and HCBS services to DDD members! To limit exposure, we have sent one provider into the home with materials to ensure members stay busy during this time! In addition to fun activities, members are working on their DTA goals as well as vocational skills with their providers!
Please call 928-515-2370 ext. 2 for more information!
Ability Provides Person Centered Services.
Ability’s person centered planning utilizes innovated services with a person centered approach.
It empowers the members to develop the skills and abilities necessary to achieve their goals, both short and long term. We also strive for a higher level of community integration and a focus on developing independence. The greatest reward in engaging in this process as a supporter is being able to witness a transformation occurring in a person’s life when creative new directions and approaches are taken.
- Ability utilizes person center planning to ensure the success of each individual member’s wants and needs as well as ensuring engagement in community life.
- Ability provides opportunities for members to receive training and practice basic life skills such as shopping, banking, money management, access to and use of community resources.
- Ability provides opportunities for members to develop skills that lead to meaningful days, valued community roles, and promotes the member’s vision of the future and priorities.
We'd love to hear from you.
